Day 01
Arrival in Colombo – City Exploration
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo Airport) and meet your tour representative.
- Transfer to your hotel in Colombo and check in.
- In the afternoon, explore Colombo’s highlights starting with Gangaramaya Temple, a beautiful Buddhist temple featuring intricate architecture and religious artifacts.
- Visit the Independence Memorial Hall, a historical site with colonial architecture and lush gardens.
- Stroll along Galle Face Green, a seaside urban park perfect for enjoying the sunset and trying local street food.
- Explore Pettah Market for shopping, where you can find souvenirs, spices, and handicrafts.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02
Day Trip to Kandy
- After breakfast, head to Kandy, around 3 hours from Colombo.
- Visit the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for housing a sacred tooth of Lord Buddha.
- Explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, famous for its collection of orchids, palm avenues, and tropical plants.
- Enjoy a scenic stroll around Kandy Lake, located in the heart of the city.
- Visit a tea factory en route to learn about Ceylon tea production and sample fresh brews.
- Return to Colombo in the evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03
Shopping and Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Enjoy some free time for shopping at popular malls like Odel, Colombo City Centre, or Laksala for local handicrafts, tea, and souvenirs.
- For local products, visit Barefoot Gallery for unique clothing, home décor, and gifts.
- Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
- Depart with wonderful memories of Sri Lanka.
